The Quality of the headset is very solid. Connection to my cell phone was extremely simple, and same with the system. Quality of voice is flawless, and the volume levels are personal (which other headsets in the past have had crap for volume levels). It can be very loud, and very quiet. It is a headset “most” would put in the middle levels, so it can please just about everyone.
Sony throwing a mute button on there just made it worth the entire buy.
As I said in the video, this headset is a steal at an extra 20 bucks. With great voice and sound quality, a giant mute button, back lit on/off switches, new features (such as being able to use it as a desktop mic), all bundled up with a sexy/sleek charging dock for $20 more, this headset is a no-brainer.
If you are planning on getting SOCOM anyway, you should definitely upgrade to the bundle. When this hits stores as a stand alone unit later this year, it will retail at $49.99, which is still a good price for a headset of this quality.
